The discriminator of each channel is called the 252 zero-level-trigger. For a given signal each discriminator will 253 produce a digital output signal of a given length. So the important 254 parameters of such an system are the threshold of each discriminator 255 and the length of the digital output. 256 257 The first-level-trigger is looking in the digital output of the 258 271 pixels of the trigger system for next neighbor (NN) conditions. 259 The adjustable settings on the first-level-trigger 260 are the mulitiplicity, the topology and the minimum required 261 overlapping time. 262 263 The second-level-trigger of the MAGIC telescope will be a 264 pattern-recognition method. This part is still in the design 265 phase. All results presented here are based on studies of the 266 first-level-trigger. 267 249 268 \subsubsection{Collection area} 250 269 270 251 271 \subsubsection{Threshold of MAGIC telescope} 252 272 … … 256 276 257 277 \begin{acknowledgements} 258 Acknow text. 278 The authors thanks all the members of the MAGIC collaboration 279 for their support in production of the big amount of simulated data. 259 280 \end{acknowledgements} 260 281
