Remote Control of the Hardware

<b><i> be aware this whole section might have some mistakes yet, it will be overworked soon </i></b>

Camera and Drive

  • Camera and Drive can be controlled via the page 10.0.100.100
  • or the program powerctrl
    • CAMERA_POWER, starts / stops the Camera
    • TOGGLE_DRIVE start / stop the Drive

Lid

  • lid can be controlled via the page 10.0.100.26
  • or the program lidctrl

Agilent Power Supplies

  • there are 3 Power Supplies:
  • Interlock:
    • reachable via 10.0.100.224
    • has to switched on
  • 80 V power supply for the bias crate
    • reachable via 10.0.100.222
  • 50 V power supply for the camera
    • reachable via 10.0.100.220

Ethernet Controllable Power Switches

  • there are 3 Switches
  • Adresses:
    • 10.0.100.230
    • 10.0.100.232
    • 10.0.100.234
  • Access
    • on gate:/usr/local/bin/ you can find following scripts to set the state of the switches:
    • 10_0_100_XXX.pl
    • commit an option like -on=y/-off=z to it, to set the state of an output channel of the switch
