svn does not (for me) on daq, data, gui and aux

I am currently developing a new lidctrl. For this I am constantly building it and try it out. However since building the binary needs access to the svn, I cannot build on the machine I am executing the program.

This lidctrl needs to be executed on gui, since the lid-arduino is plugged in there. For some time I built it on newdaq, since svn works there for me, but I saw strange behaviour and wasn't sure the binary built on newdaq can safely be executed on gui.

Then I gave up and edited the makefile so it does not try to execute:

svnversion .n .

anymore.

This makes developing really painful for me, and I was curious if anybody else has the same problem.
